Actress Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, rumoured to be dating since they were cast opposite each other in the upcoming Spider-Man film, have confirmed their romance.

The couple stepped out in New York holding hands, giggling and gazing lovingly at each other, reported Daily Mail.

The pair were seen walking through Manhattan's East Village, with Stone placing her arm through her boyfriend's and the couple then held hands.

The actress wore a cosy camel coat with black tights and knee-high boots, while Garfield stepped out in red trousers and a jacket.

In 'The Amazing Spider-Man', Garfield takes over the title role from Tobey Maguire, while Stone plays the web slinger's love interest Gwen Stacy when the reboot is released next year.
