King Khan’s knee injury restrained him from putting on his usual high-voltage performance. Bollywood Badshah kept making off-and-on appearances on stage during the event. He was the grand finale performer. Though his performance started with a bang with the peppy number "Say shava shava", but within a minute it ended leaving fans disappointed.

Dia Mirza was on the IIFA stage after a long gap, having last performed at IIFA in Bangkok in 2008. Mallika Sherawat’s movie ‘Double Dhamaal’ was premiered at the IIFA, Toronto, she performed to the hit song 'Jalebi Bai' from the movie.
