Keeping in line with the women empowerment theme this Republic day, the 80th convocation at Dr BR Ambedkar University Agra also saw girls in leading roles. The maximum number of medals to a single student were also bagged by a female student, Garmia Singh, who received 12 gold medals by securing the top spot in more than 600 colleges affiliated with the BR Ambedkar University. Garmia Singh is the student of Rama medical college, Kanpur and want to become an ophthalmologist.
